How to link Aadhaar Card with Election Voter ID Card (EPIC)

National Electoral Roll Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) have been launched in
collaboration with Election Commission of India and C-DAC for filtering and authenticating Aadhaar Card with electoral roll. They are aiming to make the electoral process free from duplicate entries.          
Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim has said that the committee is aiming to complete the project by July 30, 2015.

Linking Aadhaar Card with EPIC is a two step process –

1.       Type ECILINK<EPIC_no> <Aadhaar _no.>

2.       Send it to 51969 or 166

If some is not able to link his/her election card with Aadhaar Card either by SMS or online he/she can submit the hard copy of his/her Aadhaar Card, EPIC number along with the date of submission at additional deputy commissioner's office, panchayat secretary office or at tahsildar’s office.
